Aiming system with Character Skeleton moving back to aim correctly



Top Down Shooter is a prototype where the player is a S.W.A.T Officer clearing out kill houses. I wanted to create a prototype that allowed me to learn mouse to 3D space targeting and having the animation skeletons react to the player’s input. My favorite part of this project was getting the player character’s back to bend up and down with the player’s aim. The most difficult part was getting the aiming system and movement animations to stay consistent
with the camera rotations.
